Bhutan Day 15
5th April 2008 by Robin.
An early start was impossible as low cloud cut visibility to almost zero.
When we start an interesting building is decorated with Druk beer bottles. Must have been a good evening as this stuff is “Guaranteed to be no more than 8% by volume”.

Bhutan Day 12
2nd April 2008 by Robin.
The highlight of today was undoubtedly the brief views of Ward’s Trogon. Brief=no photos by me.
We walked down into a patch of forest and as we arrived in the clearing our local guide grabbed my arm and pointed. I peered into the distance when I realised that no more than 20 yds away was a male Trogon with his wonderful pink and brown plumage. He flew off shortly afterwards.

An early start this morning - everyone was feeling cold this morning. My sleeping bag seemed to have kept me warmer than most people.
The weather spoiled out last chance to see Satyr Tragopan

Bhutan Day 6
27th March 2008 by Robin.
We start early morning in the pass of Pele-la accompanied by the yak.
Small fast flying birds do not lend themselves to digiscoping but a Green-tailed Sunbird poses for me on top of a tree.
