An early start was impossible as low cloud cut visibility to almost zero.
When we start an interesting building is decorated with Druk beer bottles. Must have been a good evening as this stuff is “Guaranteed to be no more than 8% by volume”.

Bhutan Day 12
2nd April 2008 by Robin.
The highlight of today was undoubtedly the brief views of Ward’s Trogon. Brief=no photos by me.
We walked down into a patch of forest and as we arrived in the clearing our local guide grabbed my arm and pointed. I peered into the distance when I realised that no more than 20 yds away was a male Trogon with his wonderful pink and brown plumage. He flew off shortly afterwards.
