The weather as we drive is rather cloudy so we don’t see as much of the scenery as we would like.
We do spot a Golden Eagle being harried by crows.
We spend the night in

The weather was better in the early part of the day and the birds were more evident.

The Park covers large parts of Mount Desert Island. This was a bit of a disappointing day with drizzle early on giving way to heavy rain.
We drove around the island and added a new bird for the trip when we found a few Laughing Gulls amongst a group of gulls on a beach.

On my early morning walk we see a deer on the roadside (White-tailed I think).
In the afternoon we take a boat trip from Lunenburg. It is pretty rough and wet. We don’t see any whales but we do see Puffin, Eider, Razorbill and Black Guillemot.
We also see a small number of seals.
