Bhutan Day 14

After our late night arrival we woke to good views over the local monastery.

We visit Trashigang for some shopping and a look at the town

On the road we pass a tree containing 3 species of Bullfinch. This is Red-headed

Large-billed Crows are everywhere - with the unmistakeable profile.

The roads in this part of Bhutan have lots of amusing road signs.

As we drive to our next campsite we rise above the clouds

We see our 4th species of Accentor for the trip - Maroon-backed.

In this photo you can just make out the road zig-zagging up the valley side.

At our camp we can hear a Scops Owl calling but attempts to find it in the dark are unsuccessful.
