Bhutan Day 13
We moved to through more forest heading for the town of Trashigang. The light on the green trees is wonderful.
Someone works on the truck at our lunch stop. The tyres are interesting and as they have no tread and would be very illegal (if you can say that) in the UK.
I photograph a Mountain Hawk Eagle on top of a tree.
We reach the river crossing to Trashigang - another check point.
As I am taking the photos a little girl comes up to me from the bench where she is sitting with her, I presume, father (in the background). I take her photo and show it to her on the screen of the camera. She smiles and returns to her Dad.
We ascend the valley side to Trashigang.
Here the fun starts. We can’t use the hotel that has been used before as it is closed. We have to go to a hotel “just” outside Trashigang. 17km and an hour’s + driving (this is Bhutan) we arrive at our hotel.
